After retaining, Suzu Suzuki named Maika as her next challenger, and Maika accepted. 5STAR GP winner Rina then came out to claim the World of Stardom title shot at Dream Queendom in Ryogoku on December 29. The agreed outcome: Suzuki and Maika meet first, and the winner defends against Rina at Ryogoku. A date for Suzuki vs. Maika has not been announced.
編集部より (Editor's take): Putting the champion in a qualifier for her own Ryogoku defense is an unusual twist, and it gives Maika a real path back to the belt.
